Before you start screaming "Blasphemer!," allow me to explain:
Fr. McNamara has may pet peeves, like those weird "fuzzies" that you get when you rip a piece of paper out of a spiral-bound notebook.
Another thing that annoys him is the way people treat the Old Testament, versus the New Testament. It’s often ignored, or treated like it’s not important. Ultimately, the Bible is a story (albeit a long one, one that is still being written), and the way some people slice off the Old Testament is like chopping off the first several chapters of a regular story: It doesn’t make sense.
So, he had us rip out the "New Testament" page in our Bible’s altogether. This is me doing as such…
Thou Shalt Love Thy Neighbor

As the homosexual condemnations flowed from the mouths of the born again street preachers, many same sex couples walking by would stop and make-out with each other in front of the soapbox sermon. While the couples made-out the street preachers would scream out specific chapters and versus backing their case for why these acts were an abomination unto God. The crowds that had gathered were mostly amused by the absurdity of the preaching and loudly cheered on the gay and lesbian couples that would stop and kiss.
