Based on existing designs by Sir Ninian Comper, these Rood figures of Christ, Our Lady and St John were carved in Bavaria.
Our Lady of the Rosary

The Dominican Province of the Holy Rosary laboured in the mission lands of the Far East. Many were martyred in the 17th-century in Japan, among whom were thousands of laity who were members of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. Today, 6 November, the Order remembers their witness and their courageous example of love for Christ and the Faith.
This statue is in the Dominican priory church of San Pablo, Valladolid, where the first Dominican martyr of Japan had entered the Order before he volunteered to preach the Gospel in the Philippines and Japan.
